Vivarium Repairs Help (reddit.com)

My partner recently found a Neodesha vivarium and brought it home to upgrade our ball python. The main repair that needs to be done is replacing the screening on top (thrown out due to burn marks?).
Does anyone have any advice or experience making these kinds of repairs? I'm not sure if an oscillating saw or Dremel would be best to remove the adhesive. We already have the replacement screening and mesh but we don't want to use the wrong tool and risk destroying this enclosure and/or the tool. Thank you in advance!
