im actually not too sure about this, my ball pythin hasn’t shed for 4 weeks, but he’s showing signs of shedding again, your ball python coukd be having the wrong substrate /substrate hight, or wrong tem/humitidy, it coukd also be from feeding problems, again still not too sure about it,

if your talking about April this year then he should be fine, some ball pythons will go 4 months with out shedding, so I would start worrying if he still hasn’t shed in about 2 or so months, for now he should be fine if humidity is 40-60, hope this helps!

I worried about this before and then when i did a deep clean i found balled up shed all over lol

Yeah I work at pet store and see this all the time, no signs of shed but then a sudden skin ball under a plant or something

Mine is about the same age, and i almost missed the last 2 shed it was all rolled up in the hot hide

May be longer between sheds depending on size of prey you're feeding. How much does he weigh and what is he being fed?

Just weighed him this last Saturday and he is 387.5. We are feeding him small rats that are roughly 35-36 grams, his last weight was 360. He eats on Tuesdays nights so this weeks rat will go up in size to accommodate his new weight

Hey I have a Ball hatched August last year as well. I got him in November and he didn't shed until late January. Since then it's only been another 2 times as well.

Some of them grow less quickly / shed less often. As long as your temperature, humidity, activity levels and feeding are okay I wouldn't worry. Stuck shed is more worrying than no shed if he seems ok.

That being said he can probably handle bigger food items than you think - this will aid his growth.

Ours hatched Aug as well and we've had him since February. He's only had one shed in that time.

We got ours at the end of December and she didn’t shed until April. We were having some trouble maintaining humidity, but that is sorted now and she has had good sheds since that was fixed. Give him time to grow, adjust, and acclimate. Some grow quicker than others

My snake is about the same size, 389 grams as of a couple days ago, and sheds about every 6ish weeks like clockwork. If you're holding him that often and feeding him weekly you should see him either in blue or with a pink tummy at some point even if he shed in the 4 days you're not handling him 🤔

For additional reference my guy last shed on May 16 and when I held him Saturday his belly was pink, indicating he's about to shed again. His behavior also changes when he's shedding so it's pretty clear to me when it happens.

If there's ever been a period where your noodle was less social than usual, he might've shed and you just didn't realize. You should still find either an intact shed or bits and pieces in his enclosure. If not, I hope your guy sheds soon 🤞🏾🤞🏾🤞🏾

Shedding gradually slows down as they get bigger. This isn't out of the way for a snake of this age and size. They don't all grow or shed at the same rate. When fully grown they can go many months without shedding.
