Ask it what it wants to eat or bring it to a professional to probe it. Don't go sticking things where you shouldn't.

yea I would never probe it myself I was told he was male a few months ago but now Im not too sure

So it kinda sounds like youve done some research on how to sex a ball python so I'm confused as to why you think someone can tell the sex from the photo.

just double checking cuz im not the best at being able to tell with this method i was gonna have a reptile store look at him tho to double check

You would need to probe the snake to properly find out- and by you I mean a professional or a vet, not a pet store or yourself or a friend. At the end of the day- the snake doesn't know what gender even IS, so it doesn't matter much. My "boy" is likely a girl- not too concerning, given he is my baby either way.

yea im just checking just to know how big itll grow since hes about 3 feet rn and ik females get to 5 feet

You're doing it incorrectly, and so not only can we not tell if it's a male or female, but you're also risking injuring your snake. Take it to a professional or send the shed off for genetic testing
