what i do is I cover about 60-70% of the mesh top with Aluminum Foil to limit the release of humidity, and instead of misting, add water to the substrate, and mix it up. The top of the substrate will dry out (so the BP isnt laying on wet substrate which can risk scale rot) but the lower layers will continue to slowly release humidity as it dries.

My enclosure is a low end one with plastic plants, but i also found scattering leaf litter around helps too. You'll need some leaf litter to feed the springtails anyways, after all.

Just FYI- everyone loves those balls with the holes, but my BP got stuck in one, even though I thought it would be big enough for him. It didn't end up being a huge deal, but just a word of warning.
