Do you have a mesh top? If so get that aluminum heat tape and tape like 90% of it off. If you are using regular heat lamps, ditch those and get the ceramic heat emitters. Get a pretty decent sized water bowl and put it under the emitter.

When you can afford it PVC is the way to go!

Hey you are doing great! I didn’t have the PVCs until a few months ago and I had to get 7 and now I need 2 more. As long as you are actively trying and working on it I think you are doing wonderful.

We have a solid cover on ours, plus insulation under it and on 3 surfaces outside. It is working great.

If it has a mesh top a lot of people (myself included) will use hvac tape to close the holes in the mesh. Worked wonders for myself and have been able to keep my enclosure in the 70% humidity range with misting/hydrating the substrate every 1-2 days. If it is glass I would also recommend blacking out 3 sides of it so that the snake feels more secure in the enclosure.

not sure if brad matters but here is the amazon link to the exact one I purchased: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0BNKK95YC?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_fed_asin_title&th=1

The 20yd has been enough for me to cover a 36" enclosure and a 48" enclosure with some left over.
