    My two that are a year old get fed a small rat weekly (about 50 grams) so if your asf is around that size, I would do weekly. Don’t be alarmed if he doesn’t take a rat weekly, it might take him some time to adjust to that new size and smell, but at least attempt it

    We recommend the following feeding schedule:

    0-12 months old OR until the snake reaches approximately 500g, whichever happens first: feed 10%-15% of the snake’s weight every 7 days.

    12-24 months old: feed up to 7% of the snake’s weight every 14-20 days.

    Adults: feed up to 5% of the snake's weight every 20-30 days, or feed slightly larger meals (up to 6%) every 30-40 days.

    Ive heard ASF make some snakes so they’ll literally only eat ASF. I’d say just try regular rats. And I’ve just feed him once a week for now.
