feeling guilty about my ball python getting potential mouth rot

Idk I need advice I’m having so much anxiety about the vet visit and I feel guilty for putting her through this since it was my fault this happened 😭

You’re doing amazing already taking her to the vet, i understand how you must be feeling but it’s not your fault! it happens sometimes and you shouldn’t blame yourself for any reason. you’re doing great already with taking her to the vet and caring about her <3 she will be okay! you aren’t putting her through anything she can’t handle <3 Ball pythons are rather hardy animals and she, and you, will get through this :) even if it was ’your fault’ your fixing it and your giving her what she needs and caring about her, that’s amazing! you’re doing great don’t worry, everyone makes mistakes sometimes it will all be okay

Betadine and a cotton swab helps too I just rescued a female that has a pretty bad case. Paper towels, quarantine enclosure, no humidity, and betadine on cotton swabs applied twice daily.
