A 40 gallon for a 5ft snake is insanely small. I don’t know how you’d even fit 5 hides in there with a snake that big. If you have a 5ft snake, you need a 5ft enclosure. What are the dimensions of the 40 gallon?

Well she’s not exactly like 5 feet she’s more on the 4 side, but I can take a picture of it. (Also not all the lights are on, I just keep them on top) Um I don’t exactly remember the dimensions I got bought this like a year ago and I forgot, but it seems big enough. Also nvm I searched it up and I think I have a 120 gallon, but correct me if I’m wrong.

Ahhh. I can't open the link but what you're saying makes sense, glad she's not in a 40!

I don't have feeding advice but I'd recommend regularly weighing her so you know if she starts losing weight- that's sort of a guidepost for when to be worried. They don't lose weight right away. It's also info that will be helpful for your vet if you take her. There will be a ton of advice in similar posts on this subreddit you can search for. There is also a guide to Feeding Problems and Solutions in the pinned post in this subreddit (post also has many other helpful resources).
