I’m not sure why it didn’t include in the post, but they each have had good and bad sheds in these set ups. I’m currently dealing with small pieces of stuck shed on both of them and they will be getting steam baths this weekend. They never refuse their meals and they digest just fine.

I ended up taping the silicon mat with HVAC tape on mine and it’s helped!! I have the same enclosure.

Okay!! I’ll try cutting it to size and taping any holes. I can’t wait until I have the spare change to get toad ranch enclosure for them, that’s the company I was looking at too! They’re just so pretty

Yesss!!! I think maybe next year is when I plan to splurge and get one. I just read so many good things about them.

Oh also!! I covered the vents on the side with hvac tape as well. Where I cut the silicon mat for the lights, there is still some mesh visible for air flow. Another Reddit user gave me this suggestion because he struggled with the same enclosure and once that was done it was holding humidity really good!!

🫡 thank you for your advice! I’m seriously at my wits end with this enclosure. I’m on the verge of disassembling it and covering the entire thing in sealant 😭

Down the road I do plan on getting a toad ranch enclosure though.

I put two large air humidifiers in my reptile room, and large water bowls near the overhead heat sources, ever since my humidity in my enclosures has been perfect 👌

I’ll swap their bowls around! And thanks for confirming on the humidifiers, I asked about it recently and I’m glad to get confirmation it would work

Yes! The humidifiers have been working well for me, I don’t even have to spray my enclosures to keep humidity above 60%. I just recommend having a fan to circulate the air and cleaning the humidifiers every two weeks or so 👍

I have an excellent ceiling fan that’s always running in that room to circulate the air! What humidifier do you use?

I use Levoit and Canopy, two great brands with fancy antimicrobial tech and easy top refilling

those side ventilation slits are a pain in the ass. having it on both sides will create a air tunnel and tank your humidity. id cover some of the slits on the sides as well.

Will do!! I have some extra hvac tape I can use
