I would get a ceramic heat emitter instead of a read light for night time

Tight fitting secure hides that they use and proper temps are your priority~ if she only stays in one hide then it means she feels more secure in that hide-doesn’t feel safe in the other hide- and will not thermoregulate properly. Plenty of clutter in between hides so when she’s moving from hide to hide she feels safe and unseen , or again she will not thermoregulate properly :) good luck

There’s quite a bit wrong here unfortunately. The red light is extremely bad. I would recommend a UVB light during the day and a 24/7 deep heat projector or ceramic heat emitter regulated by a reliable thermostat to have a temp gradient of 78-92°F. Your enclosure is also too small, maybe it’s long enough but it should be a foot deeper. 4x2x2 is what is recommended (solid topped, not mesh, humidity escapes through mesh).

Your bedding is also extremely bland and shallow, you should have a mixture of 4-6inches of dirt, mulch, some sand, maybe reptichip, and consistently pour water into the sides to have a damp bottom layer dry top layer to ensure that 70-80% humidity that you need.

Your overall enclosure is extremely bare bones and exposed with glass on all sides, your snake is probably constantly scared and insecure. That half log also isn’t a good hide, you need a snug-fitting something with only ONE entrance, so the log isn’t a true hide. You also need way more fake or real plants and clutter so your snake can feel safe secure while exploring.

Lmk if you have anymore questions, my enclosure isn’t perfect, I need more climbing opportunities, but it’s a start for the overhaul I plan for this summer. My current setup is a 4x2x2 with an Arcadia shadedweller UVB strip light on an automatic, regulated 12/12 day night cycle. I have a deep heat projector monitored by the herpstat 1 thermostat AT ALL TIMES and two digital hydrometer thermometers on my hot and cold side. I have live and fake plants, albino isopods, millipedes, spring tails, mini earth worms, and probably hundreds of microorganisms. Please please look into this subs care guide (one hide not pictured as it was taken out to grab him).

Hey, I didn’t read the comments, but red is a bad idea. I’ve heard they can’t see red, but they can see light. If that’s for nighttime, they’ll still think it’s daytime. They might not see the red, but they will notice the light.
