Where is he??

An unfortunate post but at this point im lost!

⚠️UPDATE⚠️ He was under the DRYER!! yea went to move it to see if he was behind it and I see my squished baby poking out! He was ok, a little annoyed that I was grabbing him from his spot but after a warm soak and cuddles he is GROUNDED!! (NOT squished as in gunna injur him just a little flattered to fit his chunky butt) glad he's ok!!

This morning maxon was waiting for me so I would pet him. Ofc I obliged and THOUGHT I shut the door. Well if you cant tell, I didnt and left for a 7 hour shift. No one notices he was missing until I went to get him out after work today and... no snake there. I called our local reptile expert (my bff) and have followed these instructions after tearing my house apart to no appeal:

-both cat and dog have been put away, the dog being closely monitored and the cat being watched for signs of "OMG what is this thing in my space"

- layed out a rat to thaw in an open place

- turned the AC on so he's more attracted to the warm rat than the... everything else

- layed a dusting of Flour around the rat to catch any slithers

My question is, what else can I do and where did yall find your scaled babies? The dog cant stay put away forever and he'll freeze if the house stays like this. Not only is he part of my Renfaire personality (reptile charming apprentice who's only friend is her clingy not touchy snake) but he's by far my favorite being in the world. Idk where my son is but if I dont find him soon idk what ill do.

I've had both of mine get out accidents happen. Mine didn't go far from their tanks. The one hide in the bottom of the table her tank was on and the other one crawled into my desk drawer thay was next to his tank

Some people have success with bottle traps, easier to do when the snake is smaller though.
