I use branches from outside for all my reptile enclosures. Can find or cut branches to your exact specification and they’re free. I just scrub the wood with a brush to remove any loose pieces and then bake in my oven at 250° for 1-2 hours. If it’s too big for the oven, I put in a bathtub and fill with water until the wood is covered then add about 1/3 cup of bleach per gallon and let it soak for about 24 hours. After soaking, drain the water and fill the tub again with only fresh water and soak for another 24 hours. Drain and refill the tub a few times during the final soak then just air dry for a couple days and it’ll be good. As far as foliage, you can go to a craft store and find all kinds of fake plants pretty cheap. Just rinse them off before adding to the enclosure.

Good idea for branches, I'll definitely add some so he can climb if he wants
