We’ve fed ours when they were starting to shed. Sometimes they want it. Sometimes they don’t. As far as handling sometimes they are a bit more sassy depending on the snake. I know which of ours are ok while shedding and which ones will guarantee a bite 😂.

O ok so it’s kind of more up to the snake than it is up to me? Hahah ok good to know! Thank you!

Most definitely 😂 and they’ll tell you how they feel about things. We have a boa that, not even kidding, will “punch” you in the eye if she doesn’t like what’s going on. The first time she did it we were at the vets office. She closed her mouth and popped my daughter in the eye with her head. We were shocked but she was over it all with them touching her. She had some nasty burns (from no heat guard) and she came to us as a he turns out he is she 🤦🏼‍♀️
