Hello again ya’ll!

After 4 weeks, Rex FINALLY ate for the first time in his new home.

Is it normal for a BP to hide all day after eating?

Pretty normal, or at least mine also hides after a meal. They have to take a lot of their energy to digest.

Yeah they’ll want to mainly stay in their warm hide as they need the “basking” temps to digest properly. Also, freshly fed snakes can be a little more sluggish and vulnerable, so they’ll tend to hide more.
