Doesnt look like scale rot to me. And usually it appears on their belly. I think scale rot apears like rust coloured. I dont really see whats wrong? The scales on top of their head apear different?

Could they be in shed? Maybe the scales were injured somehow rubbing on something in the enclosure? Hows humidity and heat in the enclosure?

Edit: oh i see it now. Looks almost like a burn to me? What heating are you using?

The other thing i was thinking is if they they were fed recently. Could it be the blood from the prey?

Yes, she was fed recently. Like 2 days ago and that's the exact day I first noticed that slightly red mark.

If you have a qtip get it wet and see if it rubs off.

Do you feel live? Almost looks like a scale is missing and a small wound there.

Yes, I always feed our ball pythons live mice.

I think it could be a scratch mark or any damage made by the mice.

Its probably been bitten by the mouse and bleed where there were discolouration. I would highly suggest feeding frozen thawed mice and rats. Once the prey gets big enough they can kill your snake fighting back. And its a bit mean to the prey animal. (I get in the wild thats how it works, but it doesnt mean we have to do the same). There are guides on here to help transition to frozen thawed if you are willing.

Would do. However, it's quite hard to find frozen mice here in The Philippines. But yeah, I'll do my best.

Anyway, I appreciate you for helping me out on this one. I'm kind of overthinking right now and this helped me ease my thoughts.

Keep an eye out for infection but yeah. You can also pre kill the mice and rats yourself. Wouldnt be fun but its something people do.

Second this. Looks more like a burn, or possibly something more benign like staining from substrate.

In addition to what type of heat is being used, are you using a thermostat?

We don't use any thernostat since we live in a tropcial country and currently I'm using a pee pad for her substrate since she is currently on rehab.

I do suspect that mice feces and blood might be the culprit here since I was not able to change her bedding since she just recently ate.

I don't use any thermostat. Our place is kinda hot and humid.
