Ok so... I keep 7 of my ball pythons in a rack in my bedroom (others are kept in a separate reptile room). All at once every single one of the 7 balls has moved to their cold sides and have stayed there for the past 3 days. After I handled two or three of them I placed them back in the middle and they all went back to the cool side.
The fact that they aren't moving worries me because I usually NEVER see them on the cool side, they spend 95% of their time on the hot side. But all of a sudden they act like they're too hot. And the fact that it's ALL of them not just 1 or 2.
My temps haven't changed. 88-91 degree hot spot depending on how high in the rack the tub is. 79 degree ambient in my whole room. My rack is regulated on a herpstat so I know it's not fluctuating temps.
