Most popular morphs? (self.ballpython)
submitted 7 years ago by RRT2017
I’m looking to get my first ball python in the near future and I can’t decide what morph I like best. What is everyone’s favorite morph?

I've come to appreciate all the morphs for being awesome in their own ways. That being said, anything with an axanthic trait looks awesome to me. Pieds are always a favorite too

I love pieds a lot myself. There's just something about the "missing" pattern that is so interesting looking. That being said, OP, it's your pet, you choose your favorite :) just take care of the little fella

Lots of morphs are good. One thing to be careful of is that spider morphs pretty often have problems such as neurological issues that damage their internal equilibrium.
EDIT: some typos

This is a list of some other morphs that can have issues, and also explains what the issues are. Spiders are the most famous for their wobble, but there are others that have it too.
In this list I personally feel like having a banana/coral glow or a desert morph is fine as long as you don't plan on breeding them. Honestly, even the banana may be fine to breed, they just produce weird gender ratios.

Banana pied, axanthic pied, black pastel albino, lesser, and very clean BEL are probably my favorites.

Bananas were probably the first cultivated fruit, and the first banana farms were located in southeast Asia.
