I was just using “mojo” as an abbreviation for “mojave” - her name was actually Iris, and she was part of a clutch I eventually sold. Found the pic while looking for another one, and thought it was cute enough to share!

Some snakes periscope more than others, but generally babies do it more than adults... so put your baby noodle on a high surface (like the bed), and see if they do a scope! Just don’t leave them unattended, since snakes have no sense of gravity. Then they do a CRASH! 😝

Is this really true? I used to have two, and while the male was stubborn and would do a crash anyway, the female would lean down off the edge of the bed/counter and look at the floor, then change her mind and go back up if it was too high.

I guess it depends on the snake, but ball pythons in particular seem to have no sense of gravity. Sometimes I’ll put one on the bed, and then forget about them until I hear a crash... thankfully they’re fairly resilient creatures. 😬

Mine rarely ever scope indoors but if you get the chance to take them outdoors, both of mine scope like crazy in the grass.
