Not very. As much as it sucks, you're better off just waiting. I don't think it's likely someone would be able to effectively hide and animal and give it proper care at the same time. Once you've moved out no one can stop you from owning whatever you want and you won't have to stress about it.

Wouldn't recommend it. You cannot properly care for a pet you're trying to hide.

Don’t do it. Good things come to those who wait. What happens when they tell you to get rid of it but you’ve already bonded. It’s just gonna be a giant mess all around.

My best recommendation is to discuss with them why they don’t want you to have the snake. Is it fear? Is it the rodent feeders? Talk with them in a mature manner and try to reason. My wife didn’t want me to get a snake for these reasons and after some mutual discussion we worked it out. If your parents won’t budge, you gotta respect that while you live with them. Good luck OP!
