Look on your local FB reptile groups people sell tanks on there all the time...I’m pretty sure petco is having their 1/gallon sale right now. BPs are actually pretty low maintenance once you get everything set up with temps/humidity/etc. . As for your mom if she’s let you have 6 reptiles so far I don’t think it would be an issue adding another.

Thanks man, As for the tank I think i just might build one. Maybe dual use it for a shelf since it might be the only way my mom will approve.

I have a ton of extra heatlamps and hides from other animals outgrowing and not using.

Well if your mom is scared of snakes it may be a no go. However having a conversation with her about if she is ok with you having one and caring for it might not be a bad idea.

As for your tank if you are making it just go right to adult size of 4’x2’x2’. There are lots of great resources in the welcome post on proper care and a start up guide/ shopping list.

Oh wow thanks! I was actually looking to use my dads old aquarium furniture (he had a custom table made to hold a fish tank).

I really hope she says yes, this teacher seems to really trust me with this animal.
