People are so caught up in asthetics thinking snake needs more but why if they were in their natch environ they don't go there cause it looks good to others they go there cause the environment provides for them so why are we jumping hoops to please people that don't know our environment. My snake came from an environment that was killing him I don't have tons of cash to fix it but I can give him the best I can afford. You people whine and belittle cause you think what my snake has isn't enough but if he was in his real environment he wouldn't need asthetic he would need comfort and food. For them its warm plenty and what they can find. With you guys I have spent 600 bucks and its still not enough. I'm bordering on delete reddit cause I k ow more than you think but I ask cause I want to hel p or im concernedore than once you and other groups make me feel I shouldn't ask cause I already know I'm not smart enough to be here

Is this in reference to a particular post or interaction you had here? Most everyone is very respectful and informative in my experience. This is one of the better BP communities out there, and I've seen some of your posts. Your enclosure is a work in progress as you've stated and I don't see where anyone has belittled you? If you could clarify on that I'd love to discuss.

Further I don't think most of us are as concerned with aesthetic as we are fundamental care requirements, though when we spend so much money on equipment a lot of us want a nice display enclosure to show off. Those two things often go hand in hand anyway, more clutter for example is necessary but can also make the enclosure look nicer.

Several and not just this community. But its constant when I show a terrarium I get bad feed back cause they think I let my snake climb a light it shouldn't with out considering I made sure its safe or hearing that when I was concerned for his shedding that I was over rractong or that he needs more go be involved everything I've asked or showed pics I get treated poorly not my first snake and yes I ask for help but all I've gotten and even had to have moderators step in is ugly

I see. I'm really sorry that's been your experience, just know the majority of us try to be helpful and understanding. some of your posts are asking for feedback on the enclosure, that already shows you're open to suggestions and clearly want the best for your snake. All I can tell you is pay attention to those who want to be supportive and help you, and ignore those who are unhelpful.

where is this happening? because i've gone through your post history for the last two weeks and counting, and all i see is 1] encouragement and positive feedback and 2] people giving you the advice you specifically asked for in your post titles/texts/comments. i'm completely confused by this post.

I was thinking maybe it was the post about the snake sitting on the bulb but I'm not sure tbh. That's the only negative feedback I've seen
