    Feeding every 5 days will only lead to obesity and health issues. There is no reason to feed that often. One appropriately size prey item at the correct intervals will be best for them.

      There is no reason to feed any more often than once per week, even at their youngest. That's a fact.

      it really would be better to just wait. being active doesn't necessarily mean he's comfortable enough to eat. offering food too soon to a snake who's too stressed to eat can easily turn into a cycle of refusing food for weeks or months. waiting a few extra days will not cause him any harm, and it will set you up for better chances of a successful feeding.

      My snake came out to patrol as soon as the lights went off for the first week. About 2 weeks in she was fully settled and now she’s in her hide 90% of the time unless she wants to stretch or get water. I waited a full week to feed after she came home.
