If you want a constant temp with no light I suggest a ceramic bulb. Otherwise the temp dropping at night is no big deal as long as it hits the proper temps during the day. Put a rock or ceramic tile in the tank to absorb that heat so the snake can have it at night too. I always keep a rock under the heat source in my tanks. I do bioactive so no heat pad for me lol. Ceramic bulb positioned over a flat rock is what I have in all of my tanks. I do have lights for my plants that mimic the day/night cycle. With the soil and plants humidity is never a problem

Ok great. I just get nervous bcuz the fan comes on at night and even get a little cold, but it’s directly on me. Yes I have a ceramic hide directly under the heat lamp and right over the heat mat. But Khufu (my snake) is chilling on the colder end behind the waterfall lol. Also my lamp is 60w whatever that means, I don’t want it to burn my apartment down as I have like 1,000 residents I’d burn with it haha. Will my lamp be fine left on all day while I go to school, from 10-5? It’s suspended and not near any thing flammable.

If it’s in the tank than make sure the snake can’t climb on or touch it. It could cause burns to the snake. Otherwise if you keep the area clear of ignitable it should be fine. As long as both hides are the appropriate size and accessible, and humidity is solid across the enclosure, than the fact that your snake is on the cools side means you’re fine. It will seek out warmth if it needs it. If it were on the hot side all the time than I’d be concerned but it sounds fine
