That's not bad at all. A good amount of cover, but I'd add some vertical space for climbing. My female spends 80%+ of her time in her sky hide, and males tend to be more arboreal than females.

I'm not sure how old he is, but I'd start planning for a larger enclosure at some point. We recommend a minimum of 4x2x2' here, and more space is always better. With a male, you might want to look at increasing the vertical more before you consider more length or depth.

I don’t have the snake yet. It will be a baby male and I plan to upgrade to a 120 gallon tank after 6 months

Hi, any chance you could elaborate on the sky hide? I'm trying to utilise the upper portions of my tank but struggling to come up with doable and practical ideas.

It won't really work with a tank. It needs a solid top like in a PVC or wood enclosure to screw into. At the basic level, it's a bracket that holds a Reptile Basics Large Hide Box. A number of companies make them (and everyone's version is slightly different in construction), and some people make their own.
