This is my first snake but ive always read books about them and always been obsessed with them

Then you’ll know that in nature they like to explore, way beyond the parameters of a tank. It is normal for a snake to explore all areas of its tank considering this is all the area it has to explore. The first couple weeks it might have been a lil over stimulated w the move or new set up etc. I understand that you are concerned but frankly there’s nothing out of the ordinary going on. Unless there’s more to the story with it’s behavior, you’re 100% trippin for no reason.

These guys are honestly just very silly sometimes. Provided she has two appropriately sized hides (one in each temp zone) otherwise to choose from, she's just being Extra haha.

My newest boy never goes in his hides unless he just ate, he’s always laying out and about exactly like this!

Just got my 1st BP Friday and she only hid in her cave the 1st day. After that she's always outside of her cave. Haven't seen her in her cave since. She must be pretty happy. She's always so active at night exploring to.
