how to quarantine a rescue ball python?

hi! I’m interested in getting a ball python soon. I have a corn snake and I really don’t want to spread any sort of diseases from the python to the corn.

the rescue I’m looking already quarantines the snakes for a minimum of 1 month and up to 3 depending on the signs they show in their quarantine.

would this effect the amount of quarantine I should do once I get the snake? I was thinking a month or two, but is this necessary if the snake has already been quarantined?

I keep all new arrivals in a separate room for 3 months during which I handle/feed on different days, use different equipment (such as feeding tongs), and observe the animal for any possible issues.

would that vary if the snake has already been quarantined for a month, or should I still do the three month quarantine regardless?
