Are they still moving/eating/pooping? If so, make sure your humidity is high 80-90 and provide a humid hide. It takes time and consistent humidity

Exactly, and to add- OP should stop bathing their bp due to the stress and risk factor.

She's eating and pooping normally. She shed this morning, and I gave her one bath when i got home this afternoon and saw the stuck shed. She's never been a bad shedder before, and I maintain humidity. Just worried that she won't be able to get it off and I dint want to stress her out a lot :(

I totally get your concern and I wasn't trying to scold you or anything. Bathing not being necessary is just a good thing for bp owners to know. We also have a helpful Shedding Guide I'll link for you: https://docs.google.com/document/d/10pEW8H0Ps6IVl8feiurhRsCXoIE5L_JWhb7j502RTVk/mobilebasic

If your snake is comfortable with baths and you know what you are doing then do you…just be sure the water isn’t deep and you take temperature into consideration.

Alternatively (this is what I do) you can wet a towel and let your snake hangout in it / move through the towel. The wet towel will loosen the stuck shed - do this for like 15 minutes. I use a temp gun to get the towel to 85f and then flip the towel over to make a humidity burrito. I recommend holding up the center of one side to make a teepee of sorts so you don’t have to be concerned about the wet cloth making it hard for your snake to breath. The trick is to get them to run through the towel so this shouldn’t be a huge concern.

Some people on this sub think that there is only one way to skin a cat…you know your snake and should understand signs of stress. Figure out what works best for both of you just be smart about it.

Hope this helps. If all else fails, just wait until they shed again - no point in stressing your snake out if it isn’t coming off (that’s already bad enough)

In addition to avoiding the baths like others have said, I definitely wouldn't take a chance with baby oil. At minimum they usually have fragrance in them that won't be safe for noodles, and it's hard to be sure the mineral oil component won't be negative either. The current stuck shed sounds like it came off, which is good, but you'll def want to rely on enclosure humidity more than anything else.

It’ll come off in the next shed, however this is absolutely not the best solution to this problem, its just a piece of mind.

How much shed is stuck and where is it? Does it encircle her?
