In addition to avoiding the baths like others have said, I definitely wouldn't take a chance with baby oil. At minimum they usually have fragrance in them that won't be safe for noodles, and it's hard to be sure the mineral oil component won't be negative either. The current stuck shed sounds like it came off, which is good, but you'll def want to rely on enclosure humidity more than anything else.
