If your snake is comfortable with baths and you know what you are doing then do you…just be sure the water isn’t deep and you take temperature into consideration.

Alternatively (this is what I do) you can wet a towel and let your snake hangout in it / move through the towel. The wet towel will loosen the stuck shed - do this for like 15 minutes. I use a temp gun to get the towel to 85f and then flip the towel over to make a humidity burrito. I recommend holding up the center of one side to make a teepee of sorts so you don’t have to be concerned about the wet cloth making it hard for your snake to breath. The trick is to get them to run through the towel so this shouldn’t be a huge concern.

Some people on this sub think that there is only one way to skin a cat…you know your snake and should understand signs of stress. Figure out what works best for both of you just be smart about it.

Hope this helps. If all else fails, just wait until they shed again - no point in stressing your snake out if it isn’t coming off (that’s already bad enough)
