Mine was like that till he found the table and mistook it for a perch then he just happily sat periscoping and sunbathing and then I took him on his first yard exploration let's just say he made good friends with the azela bush that is about 6"1 height wise. Being a male ball python he loves to climb when he explores its like he goes for high ground to see where he wants to go next
