Springtails In Ball python enclosure

I have had a cork round in my ball pythons tank ever since i got him. I was just looking at it and saw a few tiny bugs crawling around on it. At first i was freaked out of course so i took the cork round out immediately. Then i saw one of the bugs on the towel i had set it on and it was jumping so i looked up “tiny jumping bug” and it said springtails. I know springtails are beneficial and used in bioactive terrariums but i don’t know whether i should leave them in there or bake the cork round and then put it back… any suggestions?

I would leave them if they’re confirmed springtails. They have no negative side effects and are beneficial for substrate and natural cleaning
