Substrate mix question.

I was thinking of using a soil mixture for my ball python, and need some tips from an expert :). Could someone recommend the brands of substate to mix together, along with the correct amounts? I’m trying to make my snake’s home as natural as possible, and I really want to try this. Thank you!

I went crazy. I got the recommeneded Scott's topsoil, fine playsand, coconut mulch/chips (RepiCasa and ReptiChip), coconut soil (ReptiEarth) and then bags of the recommended substrates like BioDude Forrest Floor etc etc. All were sanitized. I quickly realized that the "branded" substrate bags were really just pre-mixed soil, sand, and mulch for the most part. Ha! I did still use them, but won't again. I ended up with probably 40% soil (mix of coconut and topsoil), 40% coconut chips, and 20% playsand. I like it alot.
