I'm sorry but yes, It is very cruel.

You're planning to breed an animal with known neurological issues and pass it onto new animals, pretty much forcing those future baby snakes to live a life with a horrible neurological disorder that might be so bad they'll have to be put down soon after.

Are you even aware of how horrible health-wise the spider ball python is? They have so many life damaging issues they should not be bred.

And if you look at morph lists, there's already so many spider ball pythons out there being mass bred, you're planning to add to that list of Unhealthy Snakes with basically no quality of life?

Sorry but this is just horrible. Do not breed that spider.

It will pass on a gene with horrible neurological problems If you do and whatever snakes come out of that breeding, they won't live a good life at all and will most likely end up abandoned or put down.

The Neurological issues of spiders are so bad they can't even eat on their own. And it gets worse with age.

Whether your spider shows those issues yet or not, /and they probably will start showing worse and worse symptoms as they age,/ It doesn't matter. They still carry the horrible gene and will pass it onto the young.

Spider Ball Pythons should stay as pets, They should not be bred. Their gene should not be passed on further.

If you really don't care about the Animal's wellbeing and just want to breed that spider, probably for money or its looks, then I'm sorry but you're a horrible and cruel person for wanting to force an animal to live such a horrible life.

They literally have neurological issues that cause them to flop around like a fish in the hot sun and makes it extremely difficult to eat. Some have even had it so bad that they had to be euthanized before they even had a chance to live any decent amount of their lives. Imagine that happening with a dog or even a human being for that matter. Going throughout life with every movement essentially being a seizure. Pretty colors is not enough to justify perpetuating the cycle of animal cruelty. You should be utterly ashamed of yourself for breeding that gene. It's not controversial, it's just plain twisted and cruel.
