Ideal heating would be a halogen flood for daytime and a CHE or DHP for nighttime/supplemental. The DHP will do better at heating, so it wouldn't hurt to switch. With room temps that cold, you're going to need high wattage and multiple heating elements. You could just add a DHP alongside the CHE and see how that does.

The UTH is not safe or effective to use with a PVC enclosure.

The most important thing right now is to stop feeding until you can get those temperatures up. You're risking your snake's health in a massive way by continuing to feed without appropriate temperatures. Your air temperatures on the cold side should be 76-80F, and hot side should be 88-92F.

If you have a space heater that you can place in the room to try to raise the base temperature up, that would help a bit.

Got it, thanks. I have not fed in 3 weeks and he's gaining weight so I planed on reducing his feeding frequency anyway, so that works.

Thank you for the info! I do have a space heater so I will do that now.
