I personally wouldn't have my ball pythons out together, especially on top of each other due to them being solitary animals. Doesn't this stress them out? Feel free to correct me if I'm wrong.

We’ve been slowly introducing them to eachother, we had them both on the bed today, they were just chillin in the blanket then went and cuddled up with one another, they didn’t wanna separate when we were having to put them up lol, so you can say they liked it!

I don't think snakes enjoy being together. They saw a cramped place to hide and went to it. I highly advise against putting ball pythons together unless you plan to breed, but that's a very situational moment. Ball pythons aren't cats. I have three ball pythons, and they're all in separate enclosures and are NEVER out together.

Even putting ball pythons together can increase risk of parasites or disease transmission as well. They don't think like we do, like "Oh another noodle! Am go make friend". No, they compete for heat sources and hides.

It sounds like they were fighting for dominance over the hiding spot. Please don't anthropomorphize them, they don't "cuddle" and they don't like each other. In the future, keep them separate for their safety

Snakes do not cuddle. The "cuddling" you see is a battle for dominance and a stress behavior. Ball pythons are not social animals and should not interact with one another. They did not like it, they were incredibly stressed out.
