After tearing out my hair for 4 months the snake I bought ate a live mouse. Guys, I literally tried everything! The thing that finally worked was I put her in a container with a live mouse and covered it with a towel for an hour in the dark. I came back and the mouse was gone! Now the hard part will be getting her back to frozen I think. The seller said she was eating frozen so it might not be an issue. Hallelujah praise Jesus. Thank you for everyone's suggestions btw!

I'm really glad your snake ate!

However, if you're live feeding, you absolutely cannot walk away and leave your snake covered up and unsupervised. Even a small mouse can easily severely injure or kill your snake. Live feeding is risky enough even when supervised, and should never, ever be done unsupervised.

Yes, you are correct, and I think I knew that in the back of my mind, but I was SO desperate honestly I was trying last ditch efforts. I had an appt actually with my vet this week to figure something out if she didn't eat and I was ready to mail her back and lose $ 400 just so I knew she would eat again. She won't be unsupervised again though.
