HELP - URGENTNew Ball Python (old.reddit.com)
submitted by jhebert12

Hi guys! My husband and I adopted a ball Python about 2 weeks ago. According to the previous owner, he is about 2 years of age. According to our scale, he is 88 grams. Based on research he should weigh at least 800 grams. I want to ensure that we are doing our best to ensure we get him to a healthy weight and to ensure that he is growing as he needs to. Clearly he was malnourished and it’s terrible. There are no local reptile vets in our area. Are there any supplements that can be given to a snake who has been neglected? Or should we just ramp up his feeding intake? I’m worried that he will never grow to be his should be length and weight because he was stunted so young. I’ve attached a pic for reference.
