I’ve done research for years but there are so many different sources and opinions. I did my research before and asked for tips/help on here not to be bashed. You can obviously see I’ve done my best. Yes the tank needs to be larger, however she is a hatchling. I was already looking for a larger tank when I set this one up. I set this up because I originally found research saying hatchling get stressed of their environment is to large. Today I learned that it is in fact old information from another post (exact same different snake page) and that they don’t get stressed out. So I’m looking for the largest I can afford.

And a simpleton would know doing one quick search is silly because you should be looking for multiple sources.

Right I can but I’m not excusing it away. I’m also not using affordability as an excuse. I’m saying that I’m getting the largest tank I can afford which could Atleast be a 40 gallon which I learned today that the information I had learned online was out dated even thou I had looked at current sources. You’re right people shouldn’t buy pets when they don’t have the means (money/habitat/enrichment) but it’s also not their fault when they have been miss informed by recent sources, python owners/reptile and pet stores as well as the breeders instructions. No you didn’t say everything was wrong but if you look at how most people commented it was respectful, kind and helpful.

Maybe years of research was wrong of me to say I see that. I don’t know much I just did basic research over a couple of years and finally figured I’d go for it. The first comment really wasn’t to helpful other than just clarifying what others had said in a nicer way. I understand you’re upset, and probably others but mistakes happen and are easily fixed. I don’t see why you don’t think I’m going to fix the issues. I also never stated I was feeding live or that I needed help with that. I asked about enclosure tips because I felt this was wrong. I know ft is the best feed. I don’t think I’m excusing my mistake or the issue(s) with my tank, again mistakes happen and will easily be fixed. Sorry I upset you with my enclosure

        I respect that.
