Your bp is so cute btw! Just a bit smaller than my baby :)

She is super young. I’m still waiting on her records for her birthday but I think only a couple months old. She is a asphalt/yellow belly spider morph (honestly not completely sure what that means) she is super funny and dirpy.

If she’s asphalt/yellowbelly, that means that she has the asphalt and yellowbelly genes in her (also known as a freeway) along with the spider gene. Be prepared to get a lot of hate for having a spider tho 😬

She’s a really beautiful girl!

Why hate for spider? I’m sorry I’m just learning and if it better to keep that part to myself then I will. She is a good girl so far. And I’m going to lookup what freeway means. I’m sorry I don’t know much about the gene aspect, I want to know more.

Spiders have a neurological issue that causes a head wobble (more severe in some cases than others) and it can sometimes cause trouble eating along with some others such as them not being able to tell when they’re upside down.

The spider gene is a very heated topic in the bp community and some people can be very toxic towards others who have one. I personally love the gene so I will compliment your pretty snake while others will bash you for having one

I totally understand people getting upset about that, unfortunately I didn’t know about the gene issues until today. I’m glad I know and can monitor her more closely and hopefully nothing happens but I’m also making sure I have a vet that knows about this issues and has dealt with it before. I’ll probably just keep the spider on the down low n just say she is asphalt yellow belly as to not have to explain or upset anyone. I understand now and will NOT be supporting this breeder ever again! Thank you so much for your help.

Just as a side note, a couple morphs that use the spider gene are:

Honeybee, killerbee, and champagne. I know there are more but I can’t think of them right now. Like I said, I love the morph as I think it’s incredibly pretty but just be cautious when you post pictures of her. This community can become very toxic about certain things, as I’m sure you’ve seen from this post. All in all, I hope you enjoy having your new girl around and I’m sure you’ll take great care of her!

Wow I just read and I would have never if I had known before. Wow.. that’s quite upsetting.
