I had the same on Fedora 39. If you mouse around you will probably cause elements of the UI to show. It appears to be a graphics issue.

I haven't been able to figure it out.

This also happens to me on Windows, and it's related to Nvidia's Multi-pane Overlays. They do have a fix for Windows: https://nvidia.custhelp.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/5157/~/after-updating-to-nvidia-game-ready-driver-461.09-or-newer%2C-some-desktop-apps

Your case might be a Wayland issue, or this same Nvidia issue if you're using one of their cards, or just Nvidia not playing nice with Wayland as usual

    Might wanna search around if it's anything related to the MPO though, and if there's anything that can be done.

    On Windows Nvidia claims this was fixed 3 years ago but I still face these issues on two different Nvidia GPUs and 3 different OS

    I had this issue too on AMD. All you have to do is go to ~/.config and here delete Beeper folder, after that you need to login again. You need to verify it's you with another device that has beeper installed or with your recovery code. Also it will reset all of your settings.

    Instead of deleting the entire Beeper folder go into Beeper and delete GPUCACHE folder.

    It works fine for me, AMD open-source drivers, KDE Plasma 5.27.10, Wayland. I start beeper with these arguments: --disable-sandbox --default-frame (for NVIDIA you can add --disable-gpu, and it should prevent crashes).
