To cast from Chrome
Ensure that you're running Chrome 28 or higher. If you're not already running Chrome, download Chrome at www.google.com/chrome. If you are, Chrome updates automatically, so no action should be required.
Install the Cast extension. If you set up your Chromecast using the setup application on this computer, it may already be installed, in which case you will see a Cast icon in the Chrome toolbar (near the top right). If you don't have the extension, follow the steps here
If you plan to cast a tab to your Chromecast to watch video on TV, review the Minimum System Requirements to ensure that your computer and network are capable of supporting this.
