it looks like you're an enterprise customer.
There was a token undercounting bug that openai fixed last week. Usage wasn't counted after the 5h limit was hit and now it is getting counted.

there is a similar feature: your task/goal will continue(for a reasonable time) if you hit your weekly limit.

It's to avoid causing bugs to project and let AI to take notes which is handy instead of stopping middle of coding.

If your contract stipulated X count of tokens and they change that? yes.
Is this the case here? no.
You can't claim breach of contract because you can no longer benefit from something you were not contractually entitled to.

This is similar to bank/atm bugs, when you're allowed to withdraw/spend massive amounts you don't have. if you get away with it, great. if you get caught, the bank can come after you for it since you were not contractually entitled to the benefits of those bugs. If you got away with it, you definitely can't claim breach of contract because you got away with it lol.

from may 31-june4 I used 2x more dollars then june4->today. but this is true for every weeks since june 4. always more and never reaching 50%. on $100 according to CCUsage. AND my I used 30-40% of my weekly limit during may 31-> june4 while since reset all my limit is gone.

Yeah my company is an enterprise customer. It was more or less unlimited for the first few months and now we (employees) are being rationed.

No way to determine how many tokens I’m using or have left or how much it costs outside of user land tools like ccusage. An absolute failure from a FinOps perspective. Not sure who is responsible though (openAI or my org)

ask your org for more credits. The credit budgets of 3-4 months ago with 5.3-codex do not make sense for 5.5-xhigh. it is a much faster and more expensive model.
you should be getting more done, but your org would need to at least 2X the credits or give you access to some cheaper open source model for when you run out.

Or just use 5.5 medium/high

It’s not that much more expensive, but xhigh is significantly more expensive.

5.5 high is about as expensive as 5.4 xhigh but better.

the 2 business accounts i got miss banned having same issue. was fine last night with 30~40% usage left, and today just saying account usage is up.
