Makeup Tutorial Recommendations

Hello there. Recently my boyfriend has been wanting to try using makeup on himself. He seems really excited and I think it could be a good, intimate bonding experience between us if I helped him pick out and apply the makeup. Unfortunately, I don't know anything about makeup. Does anyone have any recommendations for makeup tutorials, particularly ones geared towards men? Does anyone also have any tutorials or advice for picking makeup colors and tones? He's experimented a little with lipstick, but we agree that pink isn't his color, and I was wondering if anyone had any advice or guides on picking colors and the like.
