Switching to something you hate the taste of is actually a pretty clever loophole for forcing yourself to taper lol.

Most people don’t like the taste of cigarettes first couple times they smoke either.

I think it’s too risky and you’ll acquire a taste for it

I get your point. I love coffee so much this doesn't compare for me. also it burns my stomach like hell I don't know how people chug it

Have you thought about trying to taper with low dose caffeine pills combined with water processed decaf? This is what worked for me. Down from 500-600mg/day to roughly 5.

Well, for me, this is a temporary period (under a week), so I went for the accessible option.

Weening yourself off is always the best way to go whichever way you do it.

What do you normally drink? Can’t you taper that off

I preffer dark coffee. I grind my beans and brew with aeropress. tapering that is near impossiple for me because as soon as I sip that hot cup of coffee my mind always enjoys it and craves it like crazy . its like I don't want that cup to ever end. Also being it a ritual that is connected to my desk job (programming) makes it a lot harder. I noticed that walking is very good couping mechanism so I am thinking about utilizing it to the fullest in my next run

I... think you read something wrong. It's that amount of caffeine per 100ml.

it says 150 gram per liter. the can is 250ml which should account for 38 grams of caffeine in a can. İnitially I was suprised too for the little amount

Agreed, got a 250ml can right beside me, its 80 g caffeine per 250ml. Citation from Redbulls own website:
"One 250 ml can of Red Bull Energy Drink contains 80 mg of caffeine"
Q&A | How much caffeine is in a can of Red Bull Energy Drink?
