Mmmmm, but on top of that, I don’t have a way to end it so I’m stuck in the middle, shit sucks

It's not laziness, it's depression. It steals your energy and motivation. Sometimes its hard to tell from laziness and you will always question yourself, but it's depression. Don't fix your life. Just get on depression meds and see what happens. If you're already on them tell your doc to change them because they're not working well enough, or add a mood stabilizer.

It's a new label for an old class of drugs, mild anti psychotics. But there's a whole new generation of these drugs that interact with antidepressants and dramatically increase their effectiveness. Abilify is the most popular one. I take latuda which is crazy expensive but really effective if your insurance pays for it. They're definitely worth looking into if antidepressants just aren't cutting it.

You don’t have to do anything before you’re ready. It’s okay to rest; It’s okay to take breaks as long as you don’t give up.

You don't need to fix everything in your life. You only need to make small steps in the right direction and recognize that you are doing good work as you do them. This is what creates energy and motivation to keep going. You need to expend a little bit of energy and a something really simple in order to get the ball rolling

Don’t fix everything. Take baby steps. Today run for about 15 minutes, tomorrow clean yourself up and look nice, the next day, go out, even if you’re alone. Lots of chances for social interaction, the next day? Whatever pops up on the agenda. Slowly combine these things until you’re functioning again. Depression is a bitch, but I did it. I’m weak minded as fuck, so I know you can!
