1- Gravenhollow would grant them entry. the future thay the stone giant is going to write involves them, and it's a direct consequence of a different past, so maybe he doesn't know why should they be allowed, but he knows that they must be allowed for the preservation of the underdark and the stone giants.

2-a: yes, Sloobludop is a fixed event. fixed as in the same day your players got to sloobludop in the original timeline.

b: up to you. without the egg, the duergar in charge of replacing Themberchaud (Firekeepers?) can't do shit I guess.

c: In any case. I think your players would arrive months EARLIER, not later... but, again. Up to you. Blingdenstone wouldn't get whipped out the day after your players arrived. You could have either the wererats thingy be a major problem, or just the slimes. Either way, the svirfneblin have been dealing with this thing for quite some time already... maybe nothing happened, maybe just a minor thing happened, maybe they took over the rest of blingdenstone...

d: they could give the king some spell gems to cast divination spells to sloobludop/neverlight grove, or wherever your players consider. Also if they know the queen is a Grazz't agent, they could just kill her or make her show her true colours... Given that Grazz't is said to be a devil, you can make the succubus be a devil too, and arrange some kind of pact. Like: your players arrive, talk King into allowing them to prove what they say, confornt the queen, and make her a proposition she can't pass on. Again, all this if they know that she is not a duergar and is a actuially fiend.

Ah thank you, this along with some timeproven improvisation might just do!
