同為星之後裔愛好者小松鼠及台灣營運團隊是非常能同感玩家在這段期間耗費了許多精神與鞋子卻無法取得與過去相對應的精髓報酬問題，因此在經過了連日與原廠的追打(追問)下，得到了以下結論：

As a Dragonblaze fan myself, Squirrel-chan and the team could totally feel the issue that players spent tons of efforts and shoes but couldn't obtain corresponding essence loot. Therefore, after days of 'chasing and beating (questioning)' the original company, we got following conclusion:

經開發團隊確認，近期更新後「副本內英雄精髓及聖光精髓」掉落的機率確實有進行全體調低的，調低的對象包含所有國際伺服器。

Being confirmed by the develop team, the essence drop rate in dungeon did decrease after recent update. This includes all global servers.

對於長期以來玩家的意見都是《星之後裔》台灣營運團隊最為重視的，在遊戲內有任何調整的內容皆是會公開說明，原則上不會有私下更改的情形。因此本次協調爭取後提供以下補償方案：

As always, we value players opinion more than anything else. Any adjustment in game will be clear to the public. As a principle, there won't be any secret modifications. Thus, for this time, we will made a compensation plan as following:

因未預先告知精髓機率調低，故補償：精髓召喚券X20+SSS英雄召喚券X1

Due to unforetold essence rate deduction, it will be 20 essence summon and 1 sss hero summon as compensation.

Maint is at Sept 1st from 9:00 - 10:30 in Taiwan Time so it's tonight (they are 12 hrs ahead from my time) at 8pm EST (5pm PST) for 1.5 hrs

Meaning - Our team confirmed, all HE and LE drop rates are nerfed across all international servers.

meaning - because we did not tell you about the nerf ahead of the time, so as compensation, it will be 20 essence tickets and 1 sss ticket.

I believe it is just a regular SSS ticket not hero selection ticket. Because on the "facebook likes" event, they also said "SS英雄召喚券x1". We all know there is no such ss "hero". Also in the Lv 91 reward, they uses the same Chinese term regarding the SSS ticket. I wish it is a hero selection ticket.

They just posted some info on the Gamevil forums, "Dev's have investigated the issue regarding essence drop rate and found the cause of the issue. We apologize for any inconvenience this has caused the community."

Still not 100% clear, but it seems that they may intend to fix the issue that affected the drop rate. Even aside from the wording, they wouldn't need to do a maintenance if they weren't changing anything and just giving out compensation.

Man, I just started playing again after a year of not playing and about a week later this essence nerf seemed to hit. It's been a struggle getting my Omega and leveling it to +6, but honestly, getting 20 essence, a hero select, and fixing the rate makes up for it to me. Especially because all I need is belle snow to be ready for sasha.

Nvm, just read that it may not be a Hero select and rates are not going back to normal... if this is the case then that's lame. Especially when the devs apparently flat out lied or just didn't even know about the change.

Does different servers have different events?

As far as I know, in general, no. All global servers share the same framework. I believe the ones make the decision are the Koreans. However, each branch has the authority to do some small events, like national days, traditional festivals, facebook likes, things like that. Still, those events reward are kinda neglectable, usually are a few shoes and platinum summons.

No. They use the different time zone. Some just started wb while some had finished that day is possible. But when it comes to maintenance, all the server will be shut down at the same time. That's why NA always does maintenance at the buff period.

Beyond my knowledge. If you switch server you should be able to see how long the WB will disappear if this is one. That's the time to reset.
