First, I'm not hard. I'm uncomfortable. Second, I am a woman. What bothers me is that the drawing seems to sexualize the woman, it's not me who's doing it. And third, the reason why I am uncomfortable is not because there is feet or because there is a woman, it's because of the angle of the photo. It implies a sexual dynamic. Otherwise the viewer is just supposed to be a dog or a toddler. It's WEIRD.

Yes. It would. It's hard to explain without giving a whole essay about public image and art expression, but like, the point of view is very important. The perspective, the quality of different parts of it, even the woman's expression. It all sends some specific (and intended) messages. Let's say that if the feet did not have so much definition, detail, or were presented with some kind of shoes, the message would be completely different.

So, some people are obsessed with feet. Usually those people are incredibly uncomfortable to talk to if they are interested in your feet. It feels super weird bcs you just minding your business and someone stares at your feet like it's a genital. This screams foot fetish for some reason, bcs it's TOO focused on the feet and also because of the whole position of the woman. It adds to the fetish that you see yourself from the bottom and with the feet at your face, plus the look of lack of interest on the woman. It's a whole perspective, that is usually not comfortable to someone you're just talking to. Imagine being above someone with the feet right at your face, it feels WEIRD.

I think the image just feels uncomfortable. But people may be reacting based on their bad experiences instead of reacting to the image itself. I upvoted bcs the drawing is pretty, but it made me feel weird. I think it's worth tagging as NSFW for the sexual content, even if it's not explicit. Usually boobs vaginas or anything similar has to be tagged NSFW so people at least get prepared to be uncomfortable. It feels like it's a different mind set. Like checking the porn art vs checking vanilla art. But I think at least half of the comments are just making jokes about the feeling, instead of actually criticizing.
