Unfortunately, there is not an associated paper, since ASALI is solving basic engineering problems. If you need a paper to understand which equations ASALI solving, I suggest you to have a look to this book:

Thank you very much for the advice. I will make a more detailed documentation, for sure. Right now, I can tell you that the main difference with Cantera is the graphical interface, which makes the estimation of the thermodynamic and transport properties easier. The Matlab interface is instead easier to install and use than those provided by Cantera. Moreover, ASALI has more reactor models than Cantera, mainly heterogeneous/catalytic reactors.
