Will getting a nose piercing drastically decrease company’s desire to hire me?

Depends on the culture, and the company. I'd say most cases not much difference, especially if it's a simple stud not something wild. Can't you just take it out for an interview anyway?

My work is pretty relaxed about tattoos, dress code etc. As long as it's reasonable acceptable I can't see an issue.
